Mystic Lake
Mystic Lake
For centuries the humans and vampires were at peace. A contract stated that if every month the humans would give five sacrifices to the vampires, then the vampires would not invade the towns. However, for centuries there has been the tale that a young girl would be responsible for wiping out the vampire race completely, and as time grew short, the vampires grow very worried.
There was a young girl around the age of 18 that matched the stories description, she was fair, completely pure and was the sweetest girl the towns had ever seen. Every human respected her, and perhaps this, and the fact that she was the Mayors daughter, is why they refused to use her as a sacrifice even though the vampires had requested on numerous occasions.
The vampire's doomed date was fast approaching, and vampires could hide their fears no longer despite their constant attempts. So, within the dead of night, they break the contract and invade the village kidnapping the young girl. They didn't plan to kill her because they wanted to avoid the threat of war, but they planned to brain wash her so she would no longer be a threat to them.
However, the humans were outraged by this, each and every one of them affected by the young girl's disappearance, and so they demanded war upon the vampires and planed to take the young girl back.
During the time they kidnapped her, the most evil vampire Vlad, the ruler of the others, falls for the girl's beauty, and within time he plans to turn her into a vampire and make her his wife.
The brainwashing curse, which the witch staying at Vlad's castle on the black mountains cast upon the girl didn't work, as she had somehow managed to resist it. The witch has a slight suspicion of this and offered to do it again; however, Vlad refused it at the risk of it completely erasing the girls mind. So, to make sure the young girl couldn't escape them, the witch convinced Vlad to let her cast a spell on the girl turning her into a mermaid so that she couldn't escape during the day when they slept.
The girl was put in the lake outside the castle with water demons guarding her, and only when the moon light reflected on the lake would she turn back into a human. Will the humans reach her in time before Vlad will make her his wife?
• I will play the young girl (Felicity)
• Someone has to play Vlad
• Most people can either play a vampire or a human (please keep it balanced)
• The witch
• Water demons
• Other creatures (good) who live by the lake (only one or two, no more)
• No Power Modding
• No God Modding
• Must post quite regularly
• Must be detailed
• If you're not going to be on for a while please inform everyone else in the role.
(if i'm posting this in the wrong place, i'm sorry but it's my first time on here and i'm not really sure what to do)

I'm curious as to a number of things.
What system are you planning on using? Is it entirely freeform, or are there some specific rules? Are conflicts going to be resolved entirely by GM fiat?
Similarly, what style of game will this be? Combat, adventure intensive, or more social role-play?
How often is "quite regularly"? Is this twice a day, or once a week, or something else entirely?
"Must be detailed." Again, a very relative term. You looking for two paragraphs worth of posts, or two pages?
It appears that you are going to need to run at least four different threads at once, possibly more depending on the game situation. How are you planning to keep them all up to date and consistant chronologically, both in-game time and out of game, with that many players?
What are the guidelines for character creation? What kind of abilities do the vampires and humans have? More details on the water demons and the other creatures would also be useful.
